What is F.E.N?
F.E.N; is an abbreviation of Forsyth-Edward Notation for any chess position.It’s a simple method to describe resulting chess position in order to make chess diagrams using just a simple text. Anyone who has mastered the notation would simply imagine the chess position given any position. The learning method is not a steep one.
The issue is this diagram generating process takes a lot of server resources.Please use this as wise as you can.Be reasonable that you won’t use as decorative purposes.

Using F.E.N
A vital thing is that the board is broken into eight ranks. (A rank is a chess term for a row of eight squares running from left to right.) Each rank is converted into a string, then all eight of these strings are compacted together separated only by slashes (/).
Another point to remember is the Knight is represented by ‘n’ & ‘N”; not “k” or “K”. A clue is the lower case is to symbolize Black pieces whereas uppercase is for White pieces.

Software generator for FEN
There is one of many websites that has a program to generate the FEN. I came to know one which is Nalimov Endgame Tablebase to analyse your endgame position.It provides special placeholder for us to insert the required FEN position to be generated.
